Barbara Ann Wilson's Obituary
Barbara Ann Wilson of Clyde Twp., age 81, passed away Tuesday January 9, 2018 from complications of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). She was born to the late Willie Martin Harper and Edith Mondine Caldwell Harper-Sims on April 17, 1936 in Tallassee, Alabama.
Barbara was an active member of the Algonac VFW Post 3901 women’s auxillary for many years. She was truly the anchor of her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crafting, and always had a new puzzle on the table ready for visitors to join in the fun and conversation in the kitchen.
Barbara is survived by her three sons, Raymond, Michael, and John Wilson, three daughters, Deborah, (Sam) Adkins, Linda (Alan) Mackie, and Susie (Mike) Griffor, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, brother Jimmie Harper, and sister Betty Cunningham.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband William Clarence Wilson, and daughter Angela (Bill) Pankow.
