Mrs. Barbara L. Deegan's Obituary
Barbara Deegan, age 68, of St. Clair, passed away on December 30, 2014. She was born on January 2, 1946 in Detroit to the late Norman and Betty Rousseau. She married Michael Deegan on August 3, 1968 in St. Clair Shores. She worked as a LPN for many years at various locations and retired from DTE after 19 years of service. In her retirement she went back to her passion of caring for others at Harbor Chase in Sterling Heights as Director of Nursing.
She enjoyed her time spent with her family, especially her granddaughter Maggie and her furry friend Bailey.
She is survived by her husband; Michael Deegan, daughter; Joanne (Robin) Ketcham, son; John Deegan (Kim), granddaughter; Maggie Ketcham.
She is also survived by her sisters; Carole Rousseau, Cindy (Daniel) Chellew, and Diane Nieman.
She is preceded in death by her daughter; Jennifer Deegan and brother; Norman Rousseau, Jr.
Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. www.youngcolonial.com
