I am so sad to hear of the passing of Barbara. I became acquainted with her when she would come to Mallards Landing Retirement Center to visit her friend June. I am the manager of Mallards and thoroughly enjoyed chatting with your mother when she would come to visit. She was always smiling and happy. We talked about Maine and that I had taken a trip and fallen in love with her beloved state. She laughed at my visits to Reds Eats in Wiscasset, and was pleased that I had visited again so I could take in more of Acadia! I have thought of her often since June passed away and I unfortunately never saw her again.
