Audrey Ann Stephan's Obituary
Audrey Ann Stephan, age 64, of St. Clair. Passed away with her loving children by her side on June 12, 2026. She was born August 16, 1961 to Mary Lou and the late Albert Verbeke. Audrey grew up in Adair and was proud to be, as she called it, an “Adairian”. She graduated from St. Clair High School, class of 1980. Audrey married Thomas Stephan on August 20, 1994 in Adair. Tom preceded her in death in 2024. Audrey was a woman with an incredible work ethic. She was a great provider, who was determined to work hard to make sure her family had what they needed for the week. However, even after working long hours, Audrey made sure she was always by a radio at 8 o’clock p.m. in time to listen to Led Zeplin playing on 94.7. She appreciated her bon fires and was an avid Detroit sport fan- especially the Lions and the Tigers. Above all, Audrey cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She just loved to be in the presence of her family. She was a proud mother and grandmother. Her selflessness, sense of humor, social personality, and generous soul will be missed by all who knew Audrey.
She is survived by her children, Audtom (Emily Lester) Stephan, Tommy “Boy” (Abbi) Stephan; grandchildren, London, Drew, Tommy III; mother, Mary Lou Verbeke; siblings, Mark (Dawn) Verbeke, Annette Verbeke, Brenda Krueger, Bonnie Verbeke, Wendy (Jeremy) Pacquette.
