Arthur R. Meganck's Obituary
Arthur R. Meganck, age 84, of St. Clair passed away February 19, 2025. He was born June 20, 1940 in Grosse Pointe Farms to the late Arthur and Mary Meganck.
Arthur graduated from Cros-Lex High School and proudly attended Michigan State University during his post-secondary education receiving both his bachelor and master degrees. His teaching career spanned nearly 30 years with Algonac High School. Arthur retired in 1992 and pursued his passion for farming and also enjoyed over 30 years of line dancing.
He is survived by his life partner of 18 years, Reenie Floreno; children, Stephen Arthur Meganck, Kathy (Shane) Surd, John (Brenda) Meganck, Heidi (Mark) Clements and Eric (Maryann) Sawyer; grandchildren, Tyler, Beatrice, Jane, Grace, Mara, Casper, Sierra, Sinjin, Hayden and Elizabeth.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville. Visitation will be Thursday, February 27th 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday at church one hour prior to mass 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
