Anthony M. Chamberlin's Obituary
Anthony M. Chamberlin, age 76, of St. Clair, passed away January 30, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan on March 1, 1942 to the late Albert and Wanda Chamberlin.
Anthony served with the U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves from 1964 to 1973. On September 4, 1976 he married Julia Wolfe in Marine City. Julia predeceased him on April 20, 2018. Anthony was a mechanical insulator for 30 years with the Asbestos Workers Local 25. He was a member of all Scottish Rite and York Rite Masonic Organizations and Maritime High Twelve. With the Masons he was a Past Presiding State officer including the Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council Royal and Select Masons of Michigan and was awarded the KYCH, OPC and KCT Grand Commandry of Michigan. As a young man Anthony also enjoyed raising and showing Arabian horses.
He is survived by twin sons, Albert (Erika) Chamberlin and Raymond (Courtney) Chamberlin; grandchildren, Maci, Madi, Mason, Mia and Maxwell; sister, Donna Chamberlin-Simonian and nephews, Jordan and John Simonian and Aunt, Dolores Potrykus.
Visiting hours are Saturday February 2 – 6 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A Masonic Memorial service will be held Saturday at 6 p.m.
