Anne C. Closs' Obituary
Anne C. Closs, age 75, of East China, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 23, 2023. She was born September 29, 1948 to the late Duncan and Helen Closs. She proudly received her associates degree in criminal justice. Anne went on and worked for Blue Water Plastics as a press operator, retiring after 30 years. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Anne loved her music, and especially cherished the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her children, Marcia (Phillip) Vandermus, Susan (Gary) Rathje, Tamara (Rick Wittner) Kolinski; grandchildren, Christi (Daniel), Joshua (Margie), Matthew, Michael (Kaela), Nicholas, Jack (Erika), Brett, Russell, Brittany, Michael, Christine, Genna, Veronica, Samuel, Andrew, Emily, Max; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Georgiana Burns, Judith Shovan, Alwyn (Charlene) Closs, Roberta Closs, James Closs; dear friend, Florence Felt; as well as several special nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Yanch; brother in law, Walter Burns.
