Anita C. Ameel's Obituary
Anita C. Ameel, age 96, of Marine City passed away July 11, 2013. She married Bernard Ameel on January 6, 1938. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2005. She loved to dance, play cards and spending time with children. She was the oldest member of the United Methodist Church of Marine City.
She is survived by her children; Bernetta (Joe) Borneman, Richard (Nancy) Ameel, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; William and Carrie Lowes, 3 brothers and 3 sisters and precious granddaughter; Jennifer Ameel.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 16 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial gathering will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to United Methodist Church, Marine City. www.youngcolonial.com
