She took great pride in being a mother and a foster parent. When her children were older, Amy went back to work. She worked in administration for various assisted living centers, eventually going back to her roots in nursing where she retired from Martha T. Berry. Amy was an avid volunteer, she was a longtime, active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. She enjoyed assisting in numerous food drives, active in the altar society, a proud member of the Daughters of Isabella. Amy was a woman true to her faith, and her social events were mainly in assisting the church, or her community. She cherished the time she spent with her family.
