Amelia Ann "Amy" Mullins' Obituary
Amelia Ann Mullins, “Amy”, age 88, of St. Clair, peacefully went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2023. She was born on August 10, 1934 to the late Eugene and Louise Fezza.
Amy retired from DTE as an instrument technician after 16 years of service. She was a member of Grace Bible Church, Yankee Airforce, Sierra Club, and National Geographic Society.
Amy was an avid adventurist. She enjoyed taking trips all over the country, motorcycling, rock-climbing, white-water rafting. Some of her favorite trips included rock climbing in Joshua Tree, Southern California, Red River Gorge, Kentucky, and Big Bend National Park, Texas . She was featured in a chapter of the book, Hear Me Roar, a book about motorcycling where Amy was cited about her solo motorcycle trip to Alaska. Aside from traveling, she was a competitive power lifter. Amy also earned her builders license and renovated homes to rent. She had a hand-full of rental houses in St. Clair.
She is survived by her children, Sheila (Michael) Shehan, Ron (Charlotte) Mullins, Luana (Michael) Hengemuehle; grandchildren, Michelle (Tony) Smith, Edward Scaranda III, Mark (Megan) Mullins, Katie Grace (Dan) Jacobson, Cheyenne Womack; great grandchildren, Lola, Roman, Avery, Evan, Ava.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Nation.
