Mrs. Agnes "Lois" Schutt's Obituary
Agnes “Lois” Schutt, age 84, of Marine City, passed away comfortably at home on June 23, 2014, after a short illness. Lois was born in Melvindale, Michigan and moved to Marine City at the age of 13.
Lois married Kenton Fred Schutt on October 31, 1950 in Marine City. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, cleaning, camping, sewing, puzzles and raising her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren are held dear in her heart.
Lois was predeceased by her husband Kenton on October 31, 2001. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Margaret and Hugh Keller, sons and daughters in law, Fred, Russell and Susan and Dickson and Sandy. Grandchildren, Eric and Samantha Wetter, Becky and Mark Postill, Genelle Hayden, Patrick Keller, Janel and Dave Marlatt, Natalie and Dusty Wahl, Danielle and Bobby King and Jonathan Schutt. Great grandchildren, Ryan Postill, Kieran and Kieghan Wetter, Abigail Yarbrough, Ella Hayden, Mattison and Kaden Marlatt, Layne Wahl, Jacob Cook, and Connor King. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Wolf, sisters in law, Joan Schutt Bulley, Eleanor Ward and Faye Ward. She was predeceased by sisters, Geraldine Volker, Muriel Gillenkirk and Evelyn Lisee and brothers, Arthur and Richard Ward.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday June 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Visiting hours are Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Reverence Home Health and Hospice of St. John Providence Health Systems.
