Karen J. Choate, age 65, of Marysville, formerly of Saginaw, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2020. She was born April 29, 1954 to the late Howard and Natalie Choate. Karen was a graduate of Saginaw Valley State in April of Read Obituary
Just learned of Karen's passing. She was my catechist at Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw when I was coming into full communion with the Catholic Church in 2006. What a beautiful soul.
" Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May Karen's soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace."
Karen was extremely patient and supportive when I began at Legal Services as a new attorney, always taking time to answer and questions and provide guidance. We lost touch when we moved on but I will always remember her as a kind and giving soul!
Something that brings me comfort in times of loss that I thought I'd share.

What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Deepest condolences to all of Karen's family and friends. Karen was extremely helpful to me during my early years in the legal profession, and she will be greatly missed.
So saddened to hear of Karen's passing. She was such a sweet and talented lady. She will be missed.

Sharon, I’m so sorry. I hope your memories will help you get through this difficult time. We need more people like Karen in this world to look out for children, disabled, elderly and animals.
