Steven Joseph Sosnoski passed away at age 53, in Clinton Township, Michigan on May 5, 2022. Visitation will be held on May 10, 2022 at Young Colonial Funeral Home in East China, Michigan from 1-7 pm, with a celebration of life service at 7 pm. Steven is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sosnoski and sister, Laura Girardi Sosnoski and his loving dogs Duncan and Jackie. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Debra Sosnoski, his children, Ashley, Chelsey, and Thomas “Buck” Sosnoski (Hannah), father Donald Sosnoski, sister Leanna Sosnoski-Miller, brother Matthew Sosnoski, and grandchildren Leonardo, Bayne, Suzanna, Thomas, and Rosie. He also leaves behind his loving dogs, Prancer and Piper. Steven was born in Troy, Michigan on April 30, 1969. He graduated from Oakland University with a degree in accounting and finance and would go on to achieve an accomplished career in various executive roles in several industries including healthcare and automotive. The proudest part of Steve’s life was his marriage to his high school sweetheart, soulmate, and best friend Debbie, as well as his children and grandchildren. Steve was a meticulous green thumb and had a passion for landscaping his yard to perfection. He loved the outdoors, including camping and hunting, and enjoyed nothing more than a day on his boat with the people he loved most. When stuck inside, Steve loved watching ghost shows, cooking the most amazing meals, and sprawling out on the couch with his wife and dogs. He will be missed beyond words and would want us all to celebrate the life we have. In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations be sent to Saint Paul of Tarsus Food Pantry, to continue Steve’s legacy of addressing food insecurity and providing meals, especially on holidays, to those in need. Donations can be sent to 41300 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Twp, MI 48038 or online at http://stpauloftarsus.weshareonline.orgby selecting the option for the pantry.
