Roger G. Germonprez, age 91, of St. Clair, passed away August 30, 2021. He was born December 6, 1929 in Sudbury, Massachusetts to the late Paul and Dolena Germonprez. Roger proudly served during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army and was Sergeant First Class with the 2nd Division. Roger was an accomplished Durability Test Driver at the Ford Motor Company Proving Grounds for 49 years. He is survived by his son, Gary Germonprez (fiancé Susan) and daughter, Tina (Jack) Tallman; granddaughter, Kelly Marie (Sean) Turner and great grandson, Grayson Turner. He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul and Alastair Germonprez. Funeral service will be Friday September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. Visiting hours are Thursday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the humane society of the donor’s choice.
