Nancy A. Browning

October 18, 1925 - March 18, 2022

Nancy Browning, age 96, of Marine City, passed away March 18, 2022. She was born October 18, 1925 in Marine City to the late Robert and Violet Folkert. Nancy attended Holy Cross School and upon graduating, she married Alfred Donald Browning in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1988. Nancy was a life long resident of Marine City living on the same block her entire life. She enjoyed Euchre with the senior groups; she was a member of Holy Cross Altar Society and Washington Life Seniors. Her hobbies were working in her flower garden, China painting, sewing and traveling. She had been to many of the National Parks, Austria, China, Costa Rica, Turkey, Germany, Mexico, Alaska and the Caribbean Islands. Nancy also enjoyed a trip nearly every summer on a Freighter that her father was Chief Engineer of, when she was younger. She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Marilyn) Browning, Thomas Browning; grandchildren, Robert, Jon, Christopher, Robyn, Andrea and Try; 3 great grandchildren. Nancy is preceded in death by her son, Paul (Lorraine) Browning. Cremation has taken place and a private Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
