Joseph (Joe) Coulthard

December 24, 1928 - May 12, 2022

Joseph (Joe) Coulthard, age 93, of Fort Gratiot, went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2022. He was born December 24, 1928 in Port Huron to the late Joseph and Maryellen Coulthard. He married Alvira Raymond in April 1985. Joe enjoyed golf, tennis, spending time with his family and wintering in Texas for 25 years. He retired from Grand Trunk Railroad after a 40 year career. He honorably served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. Joe was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, the American Legion and a life member of the V.F.W. Joe is survived by his wife of 37 years, Alvira Coulthard; children, Joel (Jeanne) Coulthard, Janet (William) Kroetsch, Jennifer (Phillip) Huffman, Mike Raymond, Tom (Vicki) Raymond, John (Tina) Raymond and Mark Bennett; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Welcoming him into heaven was his great granddaughter, Jaylee Helton; daughter, Debra Bennett and sisters, Kay (Dave) McCord and Emily (Norman) Wise. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment and Military Honors will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
