Jacklyn Rae May

July 10, 1936 - April 30, 2022

Jacklyn Rae May, age 85, of Marine City, passed away peacefully April 30, 2022. She was born July 10, 1936 to the late Jack and Grace Paddock. Jackie married John May February 11, 1978. Jackie was a model and secretary for Chris Craft in Algonac, she also was a pharmacy technician. Jackie was a beautiful woman inside and out. She had a love for animals especially dogs of which she had many over the years. Jackie was a strong person with a great faith in God, that which helped her through some very hard times in her life. She loved us unconditionally for which we will be forever grateful to have had a mother’s love like her. We know in our hearts God was there to carry our mom home to heaven. If there comes a day when we can’t be together, we will keep you in our heart where you will stay forever. She is survived by her husband of 41 Years, John May; children, Cheryl (Ralph) Jarnot, Kelly Gervais, Kari (Robert) Johnson, Dawn (Jim) Trudeau; step daughter, Cindy May; grandchildren, Christen Cottrell, Jennifer Whittaker, Lucas Whittaker, Erik Zimmerman, Erin Forney and Robert Trudeau; great grandchildren George and Caroline Cottrell, Donnie and Devon Whittaker, Avery, Quinn and Isiah Forney, Robbie Trudeau. Jackie is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica Jarnot. A funeral service will take place Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with visitation from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place following. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marine City Old News Boys. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
