Edward William Webb

Edward William Webb, age 91, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 28, 2022 at Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, Michigan. Ed was born May 13, 1930 in Detroit to the late William Barnett Webb and Elsie (Fleury) Webb. Ed was predeceased by his brother, Nelson James Webb. Ed graduated from St. Clair High School in 1949, then sailed the Great Lakes from 1950 to 1951. He proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. Ed’s working career started at the Diamond Crystal Salt Co. and worked most of his career with the Detroit Edison as a Power Plant Operator. He retired in 1990 following 37 years with DTE. Ed was also a long standing member of Grace Bible Church in St. Clair. (formerly First Baptist Church of St. Clair) He is survived by his sister, Evelyn June Webb; nieces and nephews, Kathryn Elizabeth Mathie, JoAnne Maureen Hoffman, Pamela Joy Bagley, William James Webb, Sharon Elsie Buckless and numerous great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
