Alfred Majeski, age 90 from St. Clair Michigan, was called home to God April 6, 2022. He was born October 11, 1931, to Felix and Agnes (Rice) Majeski of Kinde, Michigan. Alfred had eight siblings, Gene (Genevieve), Albin (Gerry), Donald (Arvella), Delores (Bruce), Gena (Don), Ralph (Cathy), Ken (Pat), and Emil. He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years, Margie, and children Perry (Angela) Robert (Yolande), and Deborah. He also leaves five grandchildren Therese, Christopher, James, John, and Marcelle Majeski. He is proceeded in death by his parents Felix and Agnes Majeski, brothers Gene, Albin, Donald, Emil, Ralph, and sister Delores. Alfred enjoyed hunting, gardening, and polka dancing with his soulmate of 65 years. He was a loving husband and model father. He always put the needs of others before his own concerns. His strong faith drew him to be an advocate of St. Benedict. Alfred was nominated for and received a beautiful handmade quilt from The Quilts of Valor Foundation for serving in the United States Army. He was a gentle and loving soul to all! A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 9:00 – 10:15 am at Young Funeral Home, 4061 St. Clair Hwy, East China, MI 48054. www.youngcolonial.com A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 416 N 6th Street, St. Clair. Father Michael Zuelch will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions can be scheduled at St. Mary’s Catholic Church office at 1-810-329-2255, or a memorial donation can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
